A Sunday Stroll in the Arboretum- October 2019
Slumped in front of my computer, I was working on an article for a newsletter that was due the next day, but the right words were eluding me. They refused to play nice and fall into place on the screen. Then the phone rang. Picking it up, I heard my friend Lisa say, "Would you like to take a walk in the arboretum?"
"Hmmm," I reflected for about 3 seconds, before deciding that a walk in the arboretum would be the perfect escape on this beautiful Autumn afternoon, and definitely preferable to spending even one more minute indoors wrestling with the words on my computer screen. Decision made, I grabbed my camera and headed outside to wait for Lisa and Connie to arrive! Take a look at the pictures, and I think you will applaud my decision.
