York County, Pennsylvania 2017

On a November weekend, Bob and I took a road trip to York County, Pennsylvania, where I grew up. Saturday and Sunday were both wonderful days, and we enjoyed our drive around the countryside. I may be biased, but I think it is beautiful country. On Friday night we arrived (not without some mischance) at our Hampton Inn in Shrewsbury. After a good night's sleep we put in a full day on Saturday, visiting my hometown, Delta, driving around the country roads, meeting my high school friends for lunch. It was a busy day and a wonderful one. On Sunday, after breakfast at the Hampton, we started home through the mountains via historic Route 30 (The Lincoln Highway). Exhausted, but replete with great memories, we arrived home after nightfall on Sunday. If you have time, look at the separate galleries for each day. I have added captions and more details there.
